Quadco’s line of robot chain sharpeners, from Swedish manufacturer Markusson, meet the needs of professional logging contractors and chainsaw service dealers alike. 

All of our sharpeners will significantly improve the cutting quality and lifespan of your chains. Your saws will slice through trees like butter, and your timber will be more valuable due to fewer splits in the butt log. You can cut up to 4 mm off a tooth if you need to repair a damaged tooth, and will never burn the teeth or turn them blue.

TRIPLEMATIC AT WORK

With its newly enhanced features, the Triplematic functions as a fully automatic saw chain sharpening machine, grinding the cutting link at three key points – the cutting edge, the raker, and the gullet. Designed to optimize efficiency for a contractor’s forestry operations, it ensures that a “half-a-million dollar harvester” will always perform at maximal capacity: increasing the chain’s ability to remain on the bar, increasing the cutting through speed and reducing the amount of splitting and the loss of valuable timber.

COMBIMATIC IN ACTION

If the majority of your chains are ¾” the Combimatic robot sharpener is for you. It gets the chains really sharp without burning them, frees up your time for more productive work, and comes with a stand, converter and chain stretching feature.

GRINDOMATIC IN ACTION

Feedback regarding the Grindomatic from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with owners raving about the machines capability to get chains sharp. Many of the first machines sold are still around proving the small machines’ toughness and durability.

SENSOMATIC IN ACTION

Sensomatic is the latest automatic chain grinder which is equipped with a sensor attached to the chain pusher. This means that you have all the sharpening features from the Triplematic, in addition to grinding anywhere on the chain without grinding the wrong cutter. All angles, depths and lengths can be adjusted according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and the speed is stepless.

A half-million dollar harvester is no good without a good chain on it. My operators say that they can feel the difference with the chains after they have been sharpened by the Grindomatic V12 – they cut better than before. Every harvester should be supplied with one of these machines – there are no negatives to it.

It works all by itself – I can do other things at the same time and leave the machine to run on its own. We used to use a manual hand grinder but the Grindomatic V12 does a full chain in half the time. It can take a lot off the teeth and it never burns them. It doesn’t even leave a lip at the top of the tooth. My customers have noticed the difference and tell me their chains cut much better than before!
