The brand new 62-inch Quadco M62 pairs innovation with reliability to offer forestry professionals their new go-to, versatile solution for mastication and brush clearing. This new drum mulcher was released at this year’s DEMO International Forest Equipment show and received a warm reception from conference participants.

As the latest addition to Quadco’s line of rugged forestry mulching attachments, the M62 is uncompromising in toughness. As an extreme duty attachment, the M62 is best suited to 30 – to 35-ton excavators and feller bunchers. Rather than offering a lateral tilt as a costly add-on feature, the M62 comes standard with a next-level 100-degree lateral tilt. This attachment also features a spiralized drum to help distribute material evenly over the cutters and serve as a bite limiter. The M62 is compatible with a variety of Quadco teeth and includes a fixed heel with replaceable bucket teeth for added productivity. The drum is available with a variety of Quadco teeth, all-steel or carbide, to suit any application.
Like all Quadco attachments, the M62 is built to stand the test of time and perform like new after years of heavy-duty applications. The head will outproduce and outlive many other mass-produced brands, often built too light for professional contractors. The M62 features a built-in universal boom adapter to provide equipment dealers and rental fleets with the flexibility they require to meet the needs of their clients. Changing carriers is as simple as replacing the pins and sleeves, saving you valuable time and money.
