XTREME TORQUE 360° LATERAL TILT

Why a Quadco full tilt?

First introduced in 1995, with thousands of units in the field, in various conditions throughout North America and the world. Adds productivity and versatility to any logging operation, including:

Blowdown
Steep slopes
Shovel logging
Selective cutting
Oversize timber
Topping and delimbing in hardwood
2-into-1 “careful logging”
Bunching optimized for large grapple skidders/clambunks

Compact overall depth of approx. 6” (15 cm) to minimize the effect on the machine balance
Motors and gearing located on top or top/farside and close to center structure to optimize operator visibility which is a problem with some competitive products
Hydraulic lines routed through center of head to reduce hose hang-ups often found with longer hose loops required with other 360° wrists
Nylon protection ring located on the back of the main head weldment to minimize hose wear
Ball-less Taimi Hydraulics line swivels on each line for extended service life

WHY AN XT TILT?

THE XT IS OUR LATEST AND STRONGEST TILT MODEL. IT IS AVAILABLE AS AN OPTION ON ANY QUADCO DISC SAW HEAD, 24 INCHES OR LARGER (61 cm). IT IS A SMART CHOICE FOR ANY ‘BIG TIMBER’ LOGGING OPERATION THAT REQUIRES A HIGH DEGREE OF VERSATILITY TO ENSURE THE JOB IS COMPLETED EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY. WITH A 360 XT, YOUR FELLING HEAD CAN ACCOMPLISH TASKS NEVER DONE BEFORE AND BRING GREATER EASE TO EVEN THE TOUGHEST LOGGING JOBS.
